A blank A5 card of a tree lined avenue to the past at another Great Consols Mine, United Downs. Includes a free, removable A4 walk guide.
Walk Information: Enjoyable views and some history on this one hour walk. There is a lot of uneven, stony ground, but it's mainly dry. One steep, slightly slippy ascent, and a longer steep descent. There are a few potentially overgrown patches. A couple of busy road crossings but otherwise all on tracks. Be aware; there is a drop inside the engine house at Cusvey.
