The one hour walk has lovely views, history and a good amount of off lead time for dogs. Potentially there is a large squelchy patch and soggy fields but an alternate route is provided that avoids both! It has two long ascents and corresponding more gentle descents. Mostly even and easy going underfoot, with just two stretches of very quiet roads.
